Hi!! This is really easy and fun to do. The dye will stay in for 1 to 3 weeks, its not permanent. I do not own this picture, i found it on google.com. You should use sugar free kool-aid powder because the sugar will make your hair really sticky. Sorry, i dont have pictures :(.
The first thing you need to do is mix your sugar free kool-aid powder (any color you want)in with some light colored (white works best) conditioner. Make sure the conditioner is creamy not the leave-in spray kind. Make sure the mixture is still creamy before you put it in your hair.
Next put on some gloves, (which is optional but the dye will stain your hands for a few days) pick some dye up in your hands and rub it in your hair, if you just want highlights, rub it in one spot.
Once you have all the dye you want in, put on a hair net or bandana on and leave it overnight. When you wake up rinse your hair with water (DO NOT WASH) and make sure to get all the excess dye out. Keep in mind this works better on lighter hair so if your hair is bleached or blond leave it on for about 8 hours and if your hair is darker like brown leave it on for 12 hours.
