I wear a lot of silver jewelery and this is a really easy and cheap way to clean them.
get a small package of baking soda(two tablespoons) and a half cup of water.
put the jewelery and baking soda in the water and leave it there for 2O minutes.
Get a clean towel, soak it in the water and rub the jewelery with it.
Dry it with a towel and your silver jewelery will look shiny and new again.
I use toothpaste to cleaning silver jewelry but it has a little bit corrosive effect. I will try this method thanks
No,I used cool water.
Does it matter what the water temperature is?
if you boil the water and put a little scrunched up ball of tin foil in with soda crystals it takes about 40 seconds (make sure the jewelry doesn't touch the foil) because the grub is instantly attracted to the foil as it's more reactive.
awesome, i'll have to try this!
thanks I'll try this. colgate, the white kind cause it has a bit of abrasive cleans silver really nice also.
