I was trying out a recipe from Recipezaar.com called Cajun Fireballs by Aroostook, and after trying out the first batch I decided they needed something, so I added cheese and more tomato juice. And since they reminded me of Popplers from Futurama well, I named them such. =D

Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.

Add egg, juice and pepper.

Stir in onions and cheese.

Drop by teaspoonfuls into hot (350F) oil.

Fry until golden brown.

Drain well on paper towels.
