Make a cute, chunky, colorful bracelet from Hot Wheels card
Sorry I didn't take pictures for each step!

-When getting your cars, make sure you have enough to fit all around your wrist.
-This is easiest to do with someone else, so they can help you out with some of the steps.

  • Step 1

Remove the wheels and axles from all of your cars. This is the trickiest bit, because they are somewhat difficult to get off. I got my boyfriend to do most of this step for me. We got the wheels and axles off using a combination of knives, pliers, scissors, and our hands. It's obnoxious, but needs to be done. MAKE SURE you get the whole axle out, or it won't work.

  • Step 2

Take your elastic. Thread it through each car's bottom axle. You will probably need some kind of a needle to do this, but it's not impossible without one. This is how you will be connecting the cars together for your bracelet (obviously). You can either have all the cars facing one way (IE- thread the elastic through the bottom axle) or you can alternate, like I did. Tie off each end, making sure to leave enough excess that you can tie it together.

  • Step 3

Do the same thing, only with the top axles.

  • Step 4

Tie it together on your wrist! I had to have my boyfriend do this part for me. Haha.

Hm. Did you not get the axle all of the way out? Because that could be why. That happened with one of the cars I used; I ended up using an alternative route for the elastic.
