  • How to bake a gingerbread cookie. Honey Cinnamon Bread - Step 1
    Step 1

Make a dough of the flour, honey, eggs, 300 gram sugar, baking soda and cinnamon.
Roll the dough on floured surface 0.5 cm thick. Cut the dough in the desired shapes.
Spread a baking tray with butter then sprinkle it with flour. Place the biscuits on the tray and bake in oven on 200 celsius grade approx 5-10 minutes.
When the biscuits are cooled down, make the icing. Froth the egg-white until it's hard (don't come out of the bowl when you turn the bowl upside down), after that, put the 200 gram powdered sugar in the froth in small amounts. Decorate the biscuits with the icing and smarties or other candies. Leave the cookies on the tray until the icing gets dry.

  • Step 2

Tip: first day the biscuits are soft but then they go a bit harder. Don't worry about it, you just have to store them in a cookie-box, or wrap them in foil and after a few days they're going to be soft again.

I say anyone should try this, it's so fantastic - at christmas time - it's snowing outdoors, but inside it's warm next to the oven, and you can smell cinnamon all over the house.<3 Happy
