Yummy creamy homemade butter!
 <  Image 1 of 2  >

Okay, so this is really easy, and yummy. It is kind of a sweet tasting butter, but you can add salt or sugar to get a better taste.

  1. Step 1

Buy some Heavy Whipping Cream and a jar.

I bought a liter jug of cream, and a 2 liter plastic jug as my "jar".

  2. Step 2

Let cream set until room temperature.

Meanwhile, put jug in the fridge to cool off.

  3. Step 3

Pour in the cream and shake it for about 15-30 minutes.
There will be a time when you don't hear sloshing, but keep shaking. It will start sloshing again, and if you peek in, it will be seperated, clumps of butter, and leftover buttermilk.

  4. Step 4

Strain the clumps out over a bowl if you want to keep the milk. You can use the milk in baking, as a substitute for regular milk, you can give a pig a bath with it, lol. Whatever you wish. :)

  5. Step 5

    Have fun, good luck! :)
