Tripe Biscuits for Dogs

This recipe makes about 40 biscuits, I know that's a lot but they do keep for about 4 weeks. Look out for more doggie treats how to's soon!

Ingredients:
200ml(6 fl oz) hot water
200g(7 oz) polenta
100g(3½ oz)cornflour
50g(2 oz) tripe, finely chopped
1 egg

Recipe

  1. 1

Pour the hot water over the polenta, stir and let cool. Then knead in the other ingredients.

  2. 2

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (350 Fahrenheit). Line a baking sheet with baking paper.

  3. 3

On a floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1cm(1/2 inch) thick and cut it into triangles. Place these on the baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes. Turn off the heat and let biscuits dry for a few hours in the oven. Store in a screw-topped glass jar or biscuit tin.
