Matching sets of cards and tags make nice little gifties, or you can keep them for your own gift wrapping purposes...

  1. Step 1

    You may start with either pre-made boxed cards for embellishing or cut cardstock to your desired card size and fold in half.

  2. Step 2

    Cut a square of decorative paper to just smaller than the front of your card and attach with glue, rolling over firmly with a brayer so you don't get bubbles.


  3. Step 3

    Stamp desired letters, images or words on solid color card stock and sprinkle with embossing powder while still wet. Zap image with a heat gun to set powder.

  4. Step 4

    Cut stamped image out of the cardstock and attach to card with gluedots to get a 3D look. Then add your decorative bits of ribbon, rick rack, or whatever with glue.

    *For the gift tags, follow these same steps, but remove the ugly white string and replace it with a pretty ribbon!
