i pretty much made one of cat's geisha flowers (insead of triangles i used more of a petal shape from the beginning, with a small flat end opposite a point) and sewed a button in the middle. then made a chain of single crochet stitches long enough to wrap around my head and then dangle some. i wanted to wear it on the side, so i hand stitched my flower at about 3/4 of the way down the chain.
