Really simple to do. Cut the top off. Sew the ragged edge. Fold the tongue in half and sew it down. Tada!

Thanks! The best part is that now they're practically slip-ons whereas hi-top converse take a year and a half to put on! The only downside is that the laces are too long for the shoes now (since two rivets got axed) but I'm afraid to cut them in case they fray...I just tie two bows instead. =P
