Top down sock in a herringbone pattern.
 <  Image 1 of 3  >

With ribbed slip stitch heel flap and patterned gusset and toe.

These were fun; I had a craving for herringbone socks and I spent forever trying to find the perfect stitch pattern. Eventually I gave up and designed the stitch from scratch.

Not particularly! :) The gusset was a little fiddly but other than that they weren't any more difficult than regular stockinette socks.

Oh I had to leave a comment to say WOW these are beautiful! I am learning to knit socks right now - are you thinking of writing the pattern to share. I'm sure there are lots of us out there who would love to make these.....
