This is a mash-up of several different crochet patterns. I have since added a red border on the bottom and braided tassels. My daughter loves the hat. I chose not to make a face on it because I liked that it looks like the top of Hello Kitty's head. I made this last year. I used cotton yarn to make it more breathable and for her to use whenever she wanted.
