A friend gave me this dress since it was too small for her. Unfortunately, when I tried it on, it was too big. But it was too nice to let go so I reaaally wanted it to work!

I folded in the front until the bust was a comfortable fit and hand sewed it in. Gives it nice folds to accentuate the bust..because honestly, the pattern and material made it look flatter before lol

Then I cut about an inch and a half from the bottom and hemmed it. I used that excess material as new straps and took out the previous stringy straps it had on before..They were too loose and would fall from my shoulders, but not anymore!

So now it fits great on me, good length! Not too long, not too short, and nice new straps!
