This is a Harry Potter themed hobo bag (I flattened it to take a pic, but it's very cute and floppy in real life...) The maroon and gold sash/closure is just two fabrics sewn together in wide stripes. The purse is lined with the same. There is a painted Hedwig on the back, but I can't get a good pic of it. I also made another sash out of a black-w/-silver-stars rayon material to switch out.
