   I cut out a variety of silly shapes out of felt.

   I use a hot glue gun to attach silver pins (that I bought at Michaels) to the backs of each of the felt shapes.
   I let them sit for just a few moments to dry before I continue.

   I cut out various shapes out of vintage fabrics and collect the vintage buttons I want to use that coordinate with the fabrics and felt.

   
   
4. 4

   I attach the vintage button in the center of the brooch on top of 2 layers of vintage fabrics with the felt being on the bottom layer.

   
   
5. 5

   I whipstich the edge of the felt layer of fabric using embroidery thread and a large embroidery needle.

   
   
6. 6

   Then I wear it! :)
