While searching on google for inspiration I found some cute bookmarks (http://www.sternen-nacht.de/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Hermes-Lesezeichen-480x303.jpg) and I immediatey started to craft.

draw the pattern on a piece of cardbord. cut out the hippo. you also have to cut along the nose

choose the color of your felt and glue the back of the hippo on it. Cut it out (+ 5milimeters of seam allowance)

make a little bit of glue on the front of the hippo and try to find the nose so you can cut it out. when the piece of felt sticks on the hippo you have to cut it out. sew around the hippo. finally, the happy hippo needs a face - that´s it! sooo cute :)
