Hedgehog or porcupine?
My newest creation, just finished last night!

Yet another of my Christmas presents for a friend. The story behind this one is that we have an ongoing jokey argument about hedgehogs and porcupines. She thinks everything is a porcupine and I say everything is a hedgehog. Figured a funny thing to make her for Christmas is an honest to god hedgehog

The pattern is based off the hedgehog pattern from Kristen Rask's "Creature Crochet." I had some difficulty crocheting the fuzzy back portion, so I just crocheted straight onto the body :)

Cute, cute, cute! (I love the story of Hans, My Hedgehog) BTW, to win the argument(or lose it, depending), hedgies have long, pointy snouts, and porcupines have blunt(short, rounded) faces. So. This is totally a hedgie, NOT a porcupine.
