I got my inspiration from a book called 'Super Cute' by Parragon. My project 'Patchwork Charlie Chick' was also inspired by this quirky little book. If you type it in on Amazon then you should find it. Sometimes it comes up with pictures of the book on google too. It such a cool book because it has lots of simple things to make so you can easily adapt them. This project is really easy and can be made from trinkets and bits and bobs from around the house. For the three types of fabric you don't actually need the fleece because its just to make it softer. I used the padding and the fabric to create mine! P.S: Sorry for the terrible template!

Instructions

  1. Lay out all your equipment needed in a clear space.

  2. Cut out all three pieces of fabric using the template. Decorate the 'front' piece of fabric with whatever takes your fancy! Don't forget to check to see if all three pieces of fabric are the same shape!

  3. Find two 30cm long pieces of ribbon. If this is two long then simply measure your head yourself. Pin the three pieces of fabric together, as well as sandwiching the ribbon between them - tricky!, and sew all the way round. Admittedly, machine stitching does look better but I used hand-stiching and I think it still looks great!

  4. Ta Da you've got your very own hand-made sleeping mask! Goodnight - have a nice sleep!
