Cute hand thongs to decorate and warm your hands on those slightly chilly mornings
Quick, easy and fun to make, you can do different edgings to style them just the way you want them, spice up a pair of sandles or a strappy shoe looks cute worn like spats over a pair of chunky heeled shoes:3 make them one row larger for your feet and have a matching pair! or mix and match it! the possibilities are endless, you can use any size crochet hook and any size yarn try making them with a different motif if your skilled at making these squares (i'll try to get pics for the steps soon)thank you, enjoy! (pssst a little tip, you can also make some cute bikini/halter tops with the triangle granny square pattern i was actually inspired to make one i saw on etsy but i couldn't get the pattern so i had to make one up)

  • Step 1

    make a magic circle

  • Step 2

rnd 1: ch 3 do 2 dc in ring, ch 2, 3dc in ring, ch 2 then do another 3dc in the ring then sl st to the 3 ch, you should end up with a triangle (if you know how to make a granny square its the same thing just leave out the 4th ch2 and 3dc)

  • Step 3

rnd 2: ch 5, 3dc (this starts your corner) ch2, 3dc in next ch 2 space, 3dc in next space, ch 2,3dc in same space, rep around till you get to the last space, ch 2 and do 2 dc in the first space, sl st to 3rd chain

  • Step 4

rnd 3-how ever large you want to make it or need to make it to fit, just repeat the steps in round 2.

  • Step 5

when finished sizing it cut and tie your yarn off, then chain about 20 and sc down the side of the granny triangle you just made, when you get to the second st from the tip chain 8 you may need to chain a few extra or less depending on the size of your toe, then skip two st on the oppostite side of the corner and single crochet all the way up the edge, chain 20 and tie off

  • Step 6

embellish with ruffles or a do a picot edging instead, add an applique or maybe some pom poms be creative, and i hope you enjoyed making this project :3
