Hama Bead Bob!
 <  Image 1 of 5  >

I wanted to create a cute hama bead image, so I choose Bob from an old game that I used to play on my beloved commodore 64! :D
Bob from "Bubble Bobble" :D

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    You need:
    Perler bead peg plate
Pearls (Hama beads) Yellow, white, green & black + your fav color for framing (:

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

Just follow the outlining that I've made here, it's really easy. Just put the hama beads on the pegboard and soon you'll be finished! :D

Here I've put out all of the yellow & white & black pearls.

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

    Now add the green beads.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

Filled with the green beads! :D
Now you can start on your frame, if you want one. I made it red because it looks like candy ;D

  5. Step 5

    Step 5

    Finished! :D

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

Here you can see the finished hama bead with a lot of other hama stuff I've made.

    The final step is not featured by pictures in this 'how to';

to get the pearls to stick together, put a baking sheet paper / ironing paper on top of your finished picture
and iron it until it starts to melt.

You decide how melted you want it to be!

Carefully remove the beads (now melted together) from the peg board and put the melted side down to the table and put the baking sheet paper on the un-melted side & melt it somewhat.

(That step is just to make it less fragile. It's also totally optional, but I always iron both sides!)

Sorry for not posting pictures of that process.... I'll make a better tutorial later :D
