Instructions

  1. Small p1020796

So I don't make my own puff pastry, because it is very time consuming, and looks kinda hard so shop brought puff pastry is a quick, easy substitute. If you can make your own puff pastry, you should. so first roll out the puff pastry,, and taking some Halloween shaped cutters, cut out the shapes, and place them on a baking tray. note that you will need two shapes for each parcel.

  2. Small p1020801

I chose to use cheddar cheese and poppy seeds in my parcels but you can use whatever you like. Other good ingredients are sun-dried tomatoes, feta cheese, and red onions. So fill one half of the puff pastry, with your chosen filling.

  3. Small p1020800

Then move the second piece on top of the one with the filling on it, and seal the edges by pushing them down with one finger.

  4. Small p1020802

Then score the top with a knife and brush milk over the tops for a golden brown colour when they're cooked in the oven.

  5. Small p1020803

Finally put them in the oven for 10-15 minutes, until they are golden brown on top, and the pastry has risen.

Then they are ready to serve. Note that if you were cooking for a different occasion for example Christmas, change the shape, and you have another perfect treat! hope you enjoy this project, and have fun making them! :D
