This way, you get both the better halves!

I made this cake for my friend's birthday. She likes chocolate cake and carrot cake. I couldn't decide which to make; I made both! It was a bit of an experiment but it came out a treat! A definite success!

Almost Nothing

  1. 1

First, make your two cake mixes.

  2. Step 2 2

(You might need an extra hand for this one.)

Get a piece of card that fits the diameter of your cake tin, and hold it in the centre.

Pour the two cake mixes, one in each side.

  3. Step 3 3

Just before your about to put it in the oven, pull the card out carefully.

(I used a knife to scrape the mix off the card as I pulled it out.)

  4. Step 4 4

Bake it for the recommended time or until a skewer comes out clean.

Here's what it should look like.

  5. Step 5 5

Decorate it as you wish - the person you present it with will get a surprise when the cut it to find two different cake flavours!

(As you can see, my friends name is Sue :-D)
