Awesome gauntlet thingies made from an old pair of shoes :3
I just found a really old pair of shoes in my closet. With a bit of thinking, I thought to turn them into some nifty looking gauntlet looking things. :3 They remind me of waste lander attire in Fallout.

You Will Need

Step 1First, find a pair of shoes you would be willing to destroy without regret. I'm sure this project would work for quite a few different types of shoes.... O_o

Step 2You will want to remove the laces if any before cutting the shoe so you can be able to hold the piece steady while your sawing through parts of the shoe...
take your razor ( and Be EXTREMELY CAREFUL when handling a razor!!! O_O) and start slicing the sides and tongue part off the shoes... -
Step 3When thats finished, have the two side pieces laying down facing each other like this...

Step 4Take one of your shoe laces and start lacing them from the bottom up...

Step 5...

Step 6When you reach the top, tie your bow then flip it over and place the tongue of the shoe like so (as seen in the image)

Step 7Get out that needle and thread and start sewing the shoes tongue on... (why do they call it a tongue anyways? O_o)

Step 8It should look like this when finished

Step 9Wrap it around your arm and fasten it with a safety pin like this...

Step 10Here ya go! this is what it looks like when done. :D
