  • How to make a recycled necklace. Guitar String Necklace Gitaarsnaar Halssnoer - Step 1
    Step 1

My boyfriend was in need of some new guitar strings... And i was in need of a new necklace. So we both lucked out:)

  • How to make a recycled necklace. Guitar String Necklace Gitaarsnaar Halssnoer - Step 3
    Step 2

Take the guitar string with the desired width (some are easier to put beads on, others are more difficult).

Make a selection of the beads you want to use. I used stone-like purple beads, paired with broken glass beads.

Put the beads on the string, making whatever combination you find beautiful.

Add the closures. I do have to warn you, it took me a while to find the right way to tighten everything. In times of need, superglue will work great :)

And now.. your very own necklace :)
