Green Skirt And Liz Tilley Hat

Cute Summer Wear
 <  Image 1 of 2  >

I made the hat from a tutorial on threadbangerby Liz Tilley. I used a fabric that was gifted to me from a friend, I think it was originally for upholstery. I added a fun green flower from my green flower dress fabric on the front. I used a soft ribbon to line the inside of the hat. For the skirt I used a slinky green fabric and a white glittery stretch fabric for the inside. It has an elastic waist. I got the green fabric for really cheap at Jo Ann Fabrics.. like 1.50$ a yard! Each project took me about 1 hour.
