This was a little time consuming. I made all the pieces from templates that I drew and I hand sewed the details. The backing for the picture is a the cut off from a dawer that I made for a piece of furniture. The backing used to cover the drawer cut off is food packaging. Everything was scrap that I had laying around. The fairies dress was torn when my daughter's friend was playing with the picture.

This wasn't so much difficult as it was time intensive. I would advise making templates that you can re-use so that you can make multiples.
