Shades of gray don't have to be boring!
The center part of the necklace is made in Russian spiral stitch with the very fine beading wire, since the hematite is sharp, and cuts through the edges of my Kevlar thread when hung on a necklace. The length of the necklace is finished out with bead cones and simple stringing in a repetitive pattern. The earrings are an adaptation using pearls and hematite from "Sweet Starbursts" Beadwork Oct/Nov 2009 by G. Neijman.
