make a jewelry box from a wooden tea box
So I saw this simple wooden tea box and decided to make a jewelry box out from it. You can find the tutorial on my blog, there is a link http://gothicallyyours.blogspot.com/2011/09/diy-goth-boc.html
The style I chose was dark and spooky, but that's how I am. As a title says, it's a Goth box, but you can make your own in any color you like ;)

You Will Need

Step 1Put some desired color paint on a plate and dilute it with a little water.
Then use a sponge and gently cover the box in thin layer of paint. This way the pattern of wood will be seen trough the paint. I find it very attractive :) -
Step 2Do the same to the inside of the box

Step 3Lets make puffy inner filling.

Step 4Cut a circle, as large as your palm.

Step 5Gather the edges with needle

Step 6Put some poly-fill in then draw up and sew it.

Step 7Make a puffy ball

Step 8Make some stitches in the middle and put it in an empty section.

Step 9Make as much as there are sections in your box. I made them in two different colors you can make as you wish.
