Description

This jewellery set is light and delicate, try using satin ribbon instead of organza ribbon for a bolder set. It was inspired by my favourite food (pasta bows), why not look at different foods for your inspiration?

Instructions

  1. Small gmc1304pfig1

    Necklace Measure and cut 10cm of ribbon. Fold the ribbon into three and stitch in place in the centre. Pinch the centre of the bow together and stitch into place.

    Open a 5mm jump ring and place over the centre of the bow. Close the jump ring. Repeat for two more and stitch into place at the back. Trim the thread. Add a jump ring to each side through the three jump rings. Make four more.

    Measure and cut 50cm of trace chain. Add a 5mm jump ring to one end of the chain and a 5mm jump ring with a trigger clasp to the other.

    Thread a plain cup onto a headpin. Add a 6mm pink bead and another plain cup. Trim the headpin 1cm above the bead, bend into a loop add an eyepin and close. Thread on an 8mm pink bead, trim 1cm above the bead, bend into a loop and attach to a jump ring on attached to a bow.

    Attach an eyepin to the free jump ring on your bow. Thread on a 6mm pink bead. Trim 1cm above the bead, bend into a loop and attach to the centre of your chain.

    Make two more pink beaded bows without the 8mm bead and two green beaded bows (you only need to use the plain cups with the 6mm pink beads on the headpins). Attach to the chain in the same way with 3cm gaps as shown.

    Matching earrings Make the bows and add the beads in the same way as the necklace, except the beads should be green at the bottom, then pink and green on the top eyepin. Add long ballwires to the top loop of the eyepin.

    Kilt Pin Brooch Add a green beaded headpin, a pink with plain cups, a green beaded eyepin, a pink with plain cups and a green beaded headpin to the loops of the kilt pin. Add a bow with a jump ring to the beaded eyepin. Cut a 12cm and a 9cm length of chain. Attach the chain to the end loops of the kilt pin with 5mm jump rings.
