Styling Tips:
1. This shift dress is elegant enough to make its own statement, but gold jewelry (especially bracelets) would set off the motif.
2. Belt the dress with a neutral, light colored sash or belt.
1
Gather your materials.
2
Cut two strips of lace trim to measure the entire length of the dress.
3
Cut apart one of your strips: cut away the trim's edges.
4
Then, cut out the small flower motifs inside the strip.
5
You should have one long strip of trim intact, and now two new piles of trim from your fancy scissor-work.
6
Glue your intact strip of trim down the center front of the dress.
7
Let dry completely.
8
Glue scalloped trim edges parallel to large center strip, from bottom to top.
9
Let dry completely.
10
Affix trim scrap flowers around the parallel strips to create desired motif.
11
Let dry completely, and try it on!
