Glue Gunned Bows How To

  • Completed Project:Glue Gunned Bows How To Picture #1

Cute glue-gunned easy bows =)

well, first thing
make sure you have the following: Scrap fabric, a glue gun, thin-medium ribbon, and some stuffing [like what they use for stuffed animals], and a clip.

Add to Favorites Add Your Version

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

okay, start off with a scrap piece of fabric, It doesn't matter the size because it depends on how big or small you want it. But I cut mine, 3.75in by 3.25 in.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

Fold the fabric in half so now the opposite side is showing. From there, glue gun 2 of the sides so there is only one opening from the side.

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

Now flip the fabric inside out, so the correct side is now showing. Take some of the stuffing and add it to the inside. NOT A LOT, just a little. Make sure that the stuffing is spread out inside the bow so its not just a big clump.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

Once you have the stuffing in; from the opening, fold a little crease, and add some glue along there and press it against the other side of the bow that is not glued.

  5. Step 5

    Step 5

Once it's all glued your result should look something like this.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

Now take your piece of ribbon and wrap it around the center of your bow. Then at the end of the ribbon, add a dab of glue and press it against the part of the ribbon that is wrapped around the bow.

  7. Step 7

    Step 7

Now take a clip preferably the plain silver ones that you can by at stores, and make a dab of glue at both ends and press it down to the bow, your result should look like this :]

  8. Step 8

    Step 8

Now you have a bow! yay ! haha, thats me in the picture with my bow :] , If you have any questions please leave a comment and Ill see what I can do to help. If you have any adjustments or ideas, please let me know ! :] thanks, and I hope I helped <333

I made one this morning. I sewed it instead oh hot glueing it since I had no hot glue gun. I also put too much stuffing in it. So mine didn't turn out a cute as yours. lol.
