Glittery earrings- not just for the holidays.
I made these as a gift for a friend for Christmas. They are an easy and cute pair! You can really make these for any occasion- for you or a friend.

  • Step 1

Spray paint the buttons on both sides. This can be any color- I chose gold- and should ideally match the color of your glitter.

  • Step 2

Once dry, sprinkle a pile of glitter onto a paper plate. Heat up your glue gun and put a dollop on the front of a button. Quickly dip the button into the pile of glitter. Repeat for the other earring.

  • Step 3

Once cooled, attach the earring backs with hot glue gun. Let cool.

  • Step 4

Using a sponge applicator, pat a light layer of mod podge on the front of each earring. Let dry.

  • Step 5

(optional) To create an earring holder like the one I made, simply fold an index card in half and draw or print cute picture around the place you will put the earrings. Once the earrings are dry you can punch them through the card, and staple.
