i had some old shoes that were all scuffed and rough looking, so i made them sparkle!

i wish i took pictures for you all while i did this project. i'm not sure why i didn't! i'll try my best to describe the process. it's pretty simple

on a paper plate, mix modge podge with glitter. depending on how glittery you want your shoes, use as much or as little glitter as you want.

apply 1 even coat of the modge podge/glitter mixture to shoe. let dry completely (it doesn't take too long). while it dries, glitter up the second shoe

do a 2nd coat to the shoes, just as you did above. you may want to do a 3rd, but 2 worked just fine for me.

finish off with an acrylic finishing spray to hold the glitter and you're done. i've warn these out once and got a TON of compliments! show me your versions and have fun!
