Recycled beads, found in dusty attics and castaway, made new favorites to wear!
I call them the Precious+Few as reassembled beads refashioned with hand wrapped wire and new clasps. Parawire tinned copper wire and Vintaj natural brass colored wire makes for new necklaces, ear rings. Old crystals I had saved and broken jewelry used to make movement on our skin, capturing light and reflecting how we feel. Enjoy!

You Will Need

Step 1Glass and quarts beads on tinned copper wire. Wire, it is important to use what is comfortable for you to wrap with your tools. Crystal charms to capture the eyes or heart and very fun to wear.

Step 2Deep amber glass on tinned copper wire. Practice small and larger loops in wire wrapping to work with the size of the beads that you are using. Crystal charms and very small beads make a very light weight piece.

Step 3Here is old brass chain purchased and accented with crystal with a copper jump link from Vintaj natural brass that is new. Finding brass that is the same color as the old chain can be greenish to copper in color. The jump link is set with several charms made with crystal and African copper beads.

Step 4Work in small groups or sections at a time to keep it fun and light. You don't want to create a piece that is to heavy or you will never wear it. Match accents with the ear rings makes it all come together.

Step 5Place a cloth on your surface or tray. Use empty tissue boxes to make it easy to clip your wire snips into or they will fly all over the room. Only a small space is needed, I use my computer desk and a small tray so I can clean up quickly when I need to study or do homework for my online classes. Fastening a bamboo under a shelf allows you to hang your pieces.
