My boyfriend was on the commitee for Auchinawa, the only anime convention in Scotland, and as such I wanted to cosplay (read: like to dress up and make fun costumes). Howevever not being a huge anime fan I didn't know what to go as... Then I surfed around for inspiration and decided that I had to be a Pikachu!

There was no pattern, I just kind of winged it. The edges were lined with bis tape to break up the fur a little and the tail was made of polyfoam board covered in fur. It stayed up with some nylon (see through plastic-y) thread tied to the back of the dress. The ears were re-conned £1 hen night bunny ears.
