A pretty pink snuggle nest fit for a princess.
My daughter has been showing signs of readiness to move into a toddler bed for a couple months now. And since we found out that our newest addition will be a girl, I set out to make their room an all out girly room, full of pinks, lace, and butterflies.
My first task was to make the toddler bedding set for my oldest. And if you have a toddler, you know there aren't good choices out there for toddler bedding, and if you find a set you like, you're likely to pay through the nose for it.
So, I scoured the sale racks at fabric stores and found a few items at a thrift store for re-purposing. The most annoying part was the comforter, One of the pictures above shows the detail in the comforter up close.
In above pictures: Lace embellished comforter, fitted sheet, pillow, and pillow case. I'm in the process of making an "anchored" flat sheet.

Also: Don't mind the wall. the previous owners let their kids go wild in this room, and we didn't want to paint until we knew the gender of baby #2. :)

And yes, my little princess loves her bed and bedding. :)
