Styling Tips:
1. Try this look with a huge string of pearls or a silver sequin-coated cardigan.
1
Gather your materials and plug in your hot glue gun, as well as your iron.
2
Lay dress on work surface. Measure 43" of glitter stripping.
Optional: Cut the stripping in half to make thinner lines in your motif, or mix and match width.
Optional: Cut an additional 12" for a third bow-motif, as we have.
5
Lay out stripping in slightly off-center v-neck shape as shown.
6
Once desired motif is achieved, iron down stripping using printer paper as a press-cloth. Press 25-30 seconds and then repeat.
7
Position bow appliques at intersection of v-motif.
8
Once desired motif is achieved, hot glue the appliques in place.
9
You might add an additional bow if you spilled some glue on your project... (oops!) Remember: DIY is all about trial and error!
10
Let cool completely.
11
Once motif is secure, try it on!
