  1. Step 1

    Step 1

Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

In a separate bowl, mix together the milk, eggs, melted butter and vanilla essence.

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

Combine the flour mixture with the wet mixtute and fold together.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

Place the mixture in to cupcake cases or cupcake molds. (I used tiny molds to make more bite-sized ghosts).

  5. Step 5

    Step 5

Bake in an oven at 350"C for 30 minutes until baked through.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

Take two cupcakes and cut off the bumpy tops, so that the cupcakes have a nice flat top.

  7. Step 7

    Step 7

Spread some jelly sauce, jam or whatever filling you like on the top of one of the cupcakes.

  8. Step 8

    Step 8

Place the second cupcake on top of the first, making sure that it's stuck nicely together by the sauce.

  9. Step 9

    Step 9

Roll out some white roll icing so that it's about half a centimeter thick.

  10. Step 10

    Step 10

Cut out a large round circle, large enough to cover the cupcakes.

  11. Step 11

    Step 11

Place the circle over the cupcakes and pinch at the edges, so that it creates a fold and looks similar to a sheet.

  12. Step 12

    Step 12

To make some black icing, to use for eyes and a mouth. Roll together a lump of icing with a couple drops of black food colouring. If the icing becomes to sticky to mold, sprinkle on some icing sugar until it becomes the desired consistency. Add eyes and mouths to your ghosts. Happy Halloween!
