Ghost Pincushion

You can stab him with needles guilt free because he's dead
I was in need of a good pincushion and I was looking at all the other pincushions on this site which are very cute but none seemed to fit my personality. I wanted to make a ghost pincushion and I loved Morbidly Cute’s cactus pincushion because of its 3D nature.

This project was free for me because I used white felt scraps and buttons I already had. I went outside in my backyard and got a handful of rocks to weigh down my ghost. I took an empty water bottle and using a sharp knife cut it keeping only the bottom 3 inches. My little guy's shape was inspired by Morbidly Cute's ‘Happy Moustachioed Cactus Pincushion’. I followed her how-to to make the felt ghost but used white felt instead of green.To make him look more like a ghost I sewed the bottle in to the ghost and covered the bottom of him with a square of white felt! His bottom 3 inches are hard because that's where the water bottle filled with rocks are, the top 2 inches are tightly packed with polyfill. He's a little rough looking because I'm not very good and sewing but I think he's cute and he works so I love him!
