German Weathervane Quilt

  • Completed Project: German Weathervane Quilt Picture #1

Quilts!

This is a quilt I designed based on an old German Weathervane pattern. It was a gift for my soon to be Mother-In-Law who is Polish/German by birth. It's Queen Sized and machine pieced. The top quilting was not done by me, my machine can't do quilts this big!

You can barely see the corner blocks, but they're an inverse of the main blocks. The border is a chocolate brown and the backing is burgundy.

Someday I'll post a quilting how-to! They're SO easy and so much fun!
