Keepin Me Warm Till Spring!
 <  Image 1 of 2  >

I made this with a really soft sort of fuzzy wool from a store in Pittsburgh. I also used the Burda 8135 Men's Windbreaker pattern and modified it to fit me. This is the same pattern my zombie jacket is made from.

I added two pockets on the front and used the fuzzy selvage edges of the fabric for the top of the pockets and the bottom hem.

I left it unlined because it is so soft already. This also led to the quick making of the jacket for a party that night. haha.

You did a great job, I'm always a little nervous about sewing jackets but I should really just go for it!

It really isn't as hard as it seems! I would just get a pattern marked for easy sew or something like that and follow the instructions. If you are nervous to do it with good fabric, you could always make a muslin first and then tweak the pattern to get a perfect fit!
