Hooray! I made my headband with earthtone yarns from the free store and a strand of gold embroidery floss. I also added a button and left the second tail unbraided so that I wouldn't pull my hair by tying it into the yarn!
***Oh and I just braided the whole thing by hand with no crochet hook.
