I make these for friends on their birthdays, and put a character on the front that somehow relates to what they do/like. I use two colors of felt (one outside, one lining) sew along the edges with a blanket stitch, and close it off with a button. So cute, and my friends love them!

by any chance is this character from a hungarian cartoon called "pom pom meséi"? cause there is character from that cartoon called "benzinszívó szúnyog" and it looks exactly like this one :)
