You Will Need

Step 1Start with brightly colored poly rope such as this type available from The Dollar Tree.

Step 2Cut sections double the width of your necklace. Unwind the rope strands.

Step 3Cut another piece of rope the length of your necklace plus about six inches. Tie the strands to the main rope.

Step 4Keep tying until your necklace is the size you want. Optional: For another dollar, add rhinestone trim. Cut a strip about six inches longer than your fringe. Sew or hot glue to necklace, bending around the curve as you go.

Step 5Make a connector by sewing on a button and making a loop. Trim off any excess rope.
