French Scarf Knotting

a chic way to knot your winter scarf

if some people didn't know, I am mixed, french-english-micmac(american native)

Well this is the french part of me. I love scarfs and different ways of knotting them

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    grab your scarf(I use a sarong)

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    now fold it in half


  3. Step 3

    Step 3

    now place around your neck like in the picture

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    with you hand, make a loop with the folded end

    pull the free end through the loop


  5. Step 5

    Step 5

    pull on the loose end to tighten the knot

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

    I pull it close to my neck(keeps it nice and warm

This is indeed a very european way of wearing it. Practicaly everyone in the Netherlands wears it this way at the moment :)

I've been wearing my scarves like this for years, I didn't know it was 'French' to wear them like this! *feels stupid*
