This is an awesome tutorial. Any idea how the tail fares after a run through the washing machine? Will it still be fuzzy, or will it mat up?

about how much do you think a 2-2 1/2 foot tail would cost yarn wise? Assuming 1 spool of yarn is like $2.50

I don't understand how you sew the tufts on. Do you fold the knot around the strand in the base and then sew? Or some other way?
Kida T.
Kida T. · Independence, Missouri, US · 5 projects
You fold the little tuft of fur in half then sew the knot to the best so both halves of fur are touching.

Oh wow so clever ! Can we tie directly the tufts on the tail instead of sew it ? Or sewing is more easy/clean ?

My favorite singer has a real one that he wears sometimes. (A little disappointed in him.) I like the look of it but there's no place for fur in my life. This looks great, now I can have one that's cruelty-free AND inexpensive!
