  3. Step 3

    Step 3

Cut a small strip of white ribbon and write a fortune on the ribbon.

  4. Step 4

Take a needle and thread and start stitching together the cookie sides. Leave a small part unsewn.

  5. Step 5

    Step 5

Fold the cookie inside out and stuff.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

Place the fortune in and stitch closed.

Sew a badge back on to the back of the fortune. To make the cookie more fortune cookie shaped, stitch in between the two flap bits to bring it together more.

I am so going to make one of these. I saw the other fortune cookies(edible ones) and liked them but once they were eaten they were gone so this is perfect. My friends and i are having a craft sleepover and thi will definately be there!

A friend and I tried this but the pen ran on the ribbon and it was one that wasn't supposed to bleed. Any idea how to stop that?

Hmm, I just used a felt tip pen. If you're having loads of problems, you could use transfer paper and print out the fortune on to that.
