Fortune Cookie Gift Pockets

  • Completed Project: Fortune Cookie Gift Pockets Picture #1

Fortune Cookie DIY

This project came to me whilst I was preparing gifts for my friends for Christmas.

I filled my Felt fortune cookies with earrings but you could fill them with any sort of small item, or even a written token of love or similar.

  1. Step 1

Start by cutting your circle out for your fortune cookie. My circle was about 2 inch (5 cm) in size. But your cookie can be as big or small as you need it to be.

  2. Step 2

Run a bead of glue around the edge of the circle and press it into half, leaving the ends open.

Put your item inside the open ends and close it up.

Place your finger into the middle and bend the cookie around your finger giving it the traditional fortune cookie shape.

To finish the cookies place them into a Chinese take away box and decorate it up.

I placed a small tag on my box that said:

    Confucius Say
    Gifts from Friends
    are worth a Fortune
