Flower Arranging 101

  • Completed Project: Flower Arranging 101 Picture #1

How to arrange a bouquet of flowers.

Add to Favorites Add Your Version

  1. Step 1

Put your office supplies to work by making a grid across the top of your vase by criss-crossing transparent tape. This will help anchor the flowers at angles that defy gravity and reason.

  2. Step 2

Fill vase with water, and drop in a splash of bleach to help keep the water and flowers fresh longer.

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

Strip flower stems of leaves (which can make the water turn murky and smelly), cut stems so they are just long enough to send the blooms hovering above the tape grid, and arrange to your heart's content.
