Want a pair of cute print jeans but can't justify spending big $$? Here's a super cheap solution!
Over the summer I was wanting a pair of those adorable print jeans but I couldn't find any that I loved and that were a cheap price.. Thus I made my own pair with some old jean shorts I had stuffed in my drawer and after some sewing, marking, and painting, my dreams came into fruition :)

Take a pen or writing utensil of some form and draw out the pattern you want. I chose some large and small roses with petals and I drew out the basic shapes with the pen on my jeans.

Make sure you paint one side at a time and let that side dry completely before proceeding to the other side!

After the paint was dry I went back over some edges to get a sharp look.

What brand of paint did you use? I tried using just (DecoArt/craft) acrylic paints on cloth, but they crack/peel off when washed. If I mix in fabric medium the paint stays in/on he fabric.

Did you add 'fabric medium' to the acrylic paint?

I did not add anything to the acrylic paint. Though I have worn, washed, and dried these shorts numerous times and they don't show any signs of the paint fading or peeling!
